Dissertação (Mestrado em Ciências Ambientais) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2020.http://repositorioteste.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/1612The city of Poços de Caldas is located in the south of Minas Gerais, center of the Rio Grande hydrographic basin (BHRG), which comprises 393 municipalities, supplied with water from the Pardo River sub-basin. The municipality is the most populous in this management unit, known for its abundance and water characteristics closest to its waters. For this purpose, the objective was a statistical analysis to verify the relationship between R2 and the water consumption databases and the following variations: demographic growth, temperature and precipitation, verifying the correlations between the monthly average temperature, the monthly average, the average monthly rate and the water consumption, verifying that they are insufficient for a conclusive analysis, at least in the proposed region. In order to elucidate the understanding about water use management, the demographic evaluation of the city, the city master plan was a relevant object in this analysis, mainly because it allows a correlation between urban growth and the water catchment areas for supply through the Station Sewage Treatment Station (ETA) 01 in Poços de Caldas / MG, projecting more than 100 thousand inhabitants in the next 50 years. Concomitantly, there was a relationship between demographic growth and water consumption with R² = 0.62, which can directly impact the fluctuating population of tourists, causing distortions in the analysis, on average, 18%.In addition, there was photographic monitoring of some points in the Poços de Caldas / MG hydrographic basin, which also enabled comparative reports, proving to be a good instrument for environmental research. To verify other elements that increase water consumption, exploratory analyzes were carried out that demonstrate the possibility of using other methods in Environmental Science, expanding the observer's perceptions. Quantitative analyzes can improve the search for factors that influence water consumption, such as the causes of water waste in pipes, whether due to maintenance, illegal pipes, cleaning, among others. Thus, in this research, you will find relevant information about the management of water resources in Poços de Caldas, allowing the use of actions in this important water system that drains its waters to the region and also as a sample and source of study for future works.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Crescimento demográficoFatores influenciadoresUso da águaSERVICOS URBANOS E REGIONAIS::ASPECTOS FISICO-AMBIENTAIS DO PLANEJAMENTO URBANO E REGIONALDisponibildade e demanda hídrica em Poços de Caldas/MG: estudo de caso dos setores abastecidos pela ETA 01.DissertaçãoSardinha, Diego De Souza
