Thus the cultivation in vitro technique becomes necessary to reach a big amount of plants with even size. Tough, this explants only will be able to be planted if they pass through a critical stage of acclimatation that results in a big loss of explant due to the light intensity. The objective of this work was to optimize the acclimatization of Bowdichia virgilioides Kunth through differente intensities and light quality in order to reduce the damages caused by this process. The experiment was carried out in two stages, the first onde being the in vitro cultivation, carried out at the Palnt Biotechnology and Genotoxicity laboratory of Federal University of Alfenas, and the second, acclimatization, in the city of Santa Cruz das Palmeiras-SP. It was noted that the seedlings under red meshs with light penetrance of 70% and 50% had a better development during the acclimatation stage than other mesh especially black. Since the red mesh with light penetrance of 70% reach the average of root size 126mm while the highest average in blacks mesh 50% was 59,13mm. The highest average of number of leaflets happened under the meshs with 70% and 50% and scored 30,84 and 35,15 respectively.
